Our client is building a 15-floor office space in central Manchester with a roof terrace. Due to the building size and location, lifting options were limited once the site tower cranes were removed.

What we planned

Over various visits we lifted to the roof and terrace area from three faces of the building utilising BockerAK46,150t, 230t and 250t cranes with various configurations. We worked with road closures where required and had full CBR tests for all set up locations and provided a solution to work with all of these whether set upon hard concrete yard areas or block paved pedestrian areas.

What we did

We provided full contract lifts, CBR testing availability, specialist lifting equipment and various mat configurations to suit each lifting requirement over multiple visits. Some visit involved multiple cranes.Including our Bocker and 230t crane working on the same road with careful planning and management. All visits were completed without any LTI’s as is our expectation.
